However, your paragraphs addressing the opposing view require some re-working. Part of your argument hinges on attacking the idea that people who disagree with the tenets of genetic engineering are misinformed. However, it is possible to have the same facts about an issue and still disagree about it. Please refine your defense against naysayers: is there an example of genetic engineering gone wrong? Why should that not stop people from pursuing genetic engineering? You might want to discuss the modification of human embryos performed by the Chinese doctor, He Jiankui."
