The education reform argument has been a critical component to the overall advancement of the US economy Through research various authors present their information as an answer to the same basic question is college practical for every individual In the past college never held such a strong weight as it does today College seems almost a necessity in order to obtain a substantial future and career Through statistics and surveys the average American citizen that attended college made a higher income as opposed to someone who did not attend college Ponnuru This issue that affects an individual has proven to exhibit an even larger affect on the US economy With Obama dealing with such a high unemployment rate along with the national debt continuously increasing the US economy is in need of positive financial circulation With the need for jobs continuing to increase employers will almost always higher an individual that has a college degree compared to one that does not Financially and logically college has become an issue for many families across America In our present day a college degree is stressed in order to be successful in the future but is the government and society presenting college at a fair national and local level for all different income level families and students To tackle the issue of the availability of college money almost immediately crops up into the equation Kleiner that published a recent report in the US News World Report addresses the fact that college tuition is continuing to increase Between 2003-04 and 2004-05 the average cost of four-year public schools rose 105 percent to 5132 and it jumped 6 percent at four-year private universities to 18 950 This large increase is due to the fact that while college tuition continues to rise government grants and loan limits remain unchanged As a repercussion of the constant increase of tuition a lot of lower- and middle-income families are feeling the burden
