The Albanian Virgin Difficulty In the opening of the Albanian Virgin Alice Munore explains to her readers there are surprises along the way These difficulties are part of the storys design and central to the way it chooses to engage or define its reader Munro 553 She explains that the story will be in fragments or in pieces but these pieces were hard to distinguish The story of the Albanian Virgin was one story within another which were one of the setbacks to my difficulties Already the stage is set for the story that has been intricately developed As Munro begins the story of the Albanian Virgin she explains Lottars present state and then she tells how and why she became in that The order she presents these different pieces sometimes gets me lost and trying to figure out in which section that I am reading interrupts the concentration of understanding the story Munro interrupts the story on the Lottar and the character Claire narrates to us the readers While reading between these narratives I began to lose myself trying to figure that is speaking When Lottar made her transformation into being part of the women of the Maltsia e madhe Munro does not give or show the transformation so she left me asking myself if maybe I miss read a section that made it a little hard to comprehend that particular section of the story The transformations from narrative to narrative were so complex to grasp Munro would end one paragraph leaving the topic of the Albanian Virgin and jump to one of the narrative like such I had come to Victoria because it was the farthest place from London Ontario without going out of the country Munro 571 At this point the person that was speaking was not clear to me only after I read over to make the connections it was While it being one story
