There are many types of freshwater biomes such as streams lakes ponds and swamps In these types of biomes theres much more water volume than there is in regular or saltwater biomes such as oceans All the unknown creatures and things that we know about must be able to change better to the changes that these types of biomes face during seasonal changes As compared to a saltwater biome where the temperature stays almost the same through the whole year because the salt keeps it consistent like the added factor Since the pollution in Midwestern states drifts through the air and ends up in the north eastern states where these biomes are acid rain becomes a much bigger problem and seems to kill off some organisms Officials of the north eastern states are trying to work with the more western states officials to try and cut down the air pollution but this is happening at a slow pace and some fear it will cause a longer problem in the long run In ponds of freshwater biomes theyre usually shallow enough and the sun shines through causing the light to penetrate to the bottom and organisms to grow upon the bottom A person could probably tell a lake from a pond because in ponds there seems to be more life on the top and even could be more family favorite What this means is that a person can see water lilies on the surface floating in what could be called calm water compared to any other biome of some sort Also sprouting commonly near the lilies if tall grass which has sprung the bottom of the lake proving how shallow lakes care really be having grass grow from the bottom and still being tall above water The tall grass growing up through the water is not good for people who like the pond this meaning the pond will no longer be up if
