Alyssa Mirandas Summary of An Anthropologist on Mars Seven Paradoxical TalesThere are many things in life that we take for granted For instance having family and friends who love us having the opportunity to attend college or even having a roof over our heads However when asked what we take for granted we often point out the bigger things but what about the smaller things Its often over looked and we dont realize how much we some of us are blessed To live life facing everyday difficulties is hard starts to take a toll on ones life Amazingly though most people who lack in one area of life often excel in others After reading the book An Anthropologist on Mars Seven Paradoxical Tales I realized that there are many people in this world that face challenges in their lives and can not overcome them This book contains seven different cases of people who lived life difficultly but somehow made the best out of their situation Ever wondered what life would be like if you could not see color Neither did Jonathan I Mr I was an exquisite painter who loved his art work dearly He had always known to love colors and it showed through his masterpieces over the years However the unexpected occurred At the age of 65 Mr I was involved in an accident that forever changed the way he saw life literally For the first couple days after his accident Mr I could not recognize letters or colors To him all letters appeared to be Greek or Hebrew letters and his vision of color completely diminished with only being able to see black and white Hereafter his transient amnesia Mr Is vision of letters came back and he could see sharply As for his vision of color he did not gain that back like he had hoped he would It was then known that the accident he was involved in caused brain
