The Storm by Kate Chopin takes place in Louisiana in the nineteenth century The story begins at Friedheimers store where Bobint and Bibi are held prisoner by the coming storm Meanwhile at home Calixta has not notice the storm and was invested in her task of sewing As it starts to grow darker Calixta becomes aware of the upcoming storm and went to collet Bobint clothes When she stepped outside as the storms rolled in so did Alce Laballire Alce enter Calixtas gallery for protection from the dangers of the sinister storm approaching Despise his wishes to wait in front of the gallery the threat of the storm force him to seek refuge inside the gallery As the storm goes on Calixta becomes increasing worry about Bibi and Bobint Alce attempts to consult her by holding her and telling her that Bobint and Bibi are probably safely waiting for the storm to pass at Friedheimers store The storm continue to intensify like the lust flaring up between Calixta and Alce Their yearning for each other body over powers them and they give in to their lust The storm pass and so did the occurrence between Alce and Calixta Alce then goes home Bibi and Bobint returns home and Calixta express her joy for their safe return The Storm begins with the present of a certain somber clouds that were rolling with sinister intention from the west p1 The reader can see the gloomily dark and dull clouds covering the earth below in its shadow of dismal as it moves The rain begins to fall in huge drops on everything with power The rain continues to come down devouring the cabin and wood in a thick fugue The storm just as it had started had come to an end The once shadowy clouds had given way to allow the sun to shower the earth with it majestic rays that turns the earth into a palaces of
