Romeoand Juliet the sad story of passionate love ultimately ending in death Although many people already know what is going to occur they read this everlasting novel with the sombertheme and dooming tone as fate and society work against the love of Romeo and Juliet Eventually ending in sadness and anguish for everyone Through the actions of Friar Lawrence and his choices to marry Romeo and Juliet use of poor judgment and his sinful conduct does tragedy ultimately resultLove at first sight Romeo and Juliet are truly victims of such love They meet at a party for the Capulet family and are immediately enamored with one another Theyre minds cannot think of anything but each other There sudden love blossoms and the couple decide to get married This was such a betrayal to both of the families Such an idea was unheard of due to the fact the Capulets and the Montagues had been long time enemies and there was not much either child could do to change the stubborn headed minds of their parents Friar Laurence whom had always been like a Father figure to Romeo married him and Juliet in secret Although he may seem to be knowledgeable of his actions and the outcomes he truly does not make decisive decisions as the Friar Through his words Friar Lawrence may leave hints that he is good intentioned to the extent that he may have become short-sighted to the circumstances In one respect Ill thy assistant be For thisalliancemay so prove to turn your households rancour to purelove II390-93Friar Lawrence As the simple man he is Friar Lawrence did not seem to be afraid of the ultimate and serious results of his decisions He was truly acting upon an impulse and was led to believe that when he marriedRomeo and Julietthat in the end the feuding would stop peace would once again be assembled in Verona andRomeo andJuliet would live a happy life together
