In life over the centuries love and hate in many cases have been regarded as the two and only feelings that can cause destruction and death In William Shakespeares famous play Romeo and Juliet two star crossed lovers from contrary houses of hatred fall in love in Verona during the blood feud of two families centuries ago Unfortunately the Capulet and the Montague who have fallen deeply in love die from their own passionate love and their families hate These two passions love and hate are the main themes in this play The hate of the two families is thought to be the cause of the two lovers death but love is just as much the reason of Romeo and Juliets suicide with its ability to almost control them into not thinking about anything else making them absolutely unaware Love and hate can be uncontrollable passions which ultimately can lead a person to destruction and conceivably deathThe never-ending brawl between the Montagues and Capulets in due course envelops the lovers into conflict Describing the initial fight between the two houses Romeo states Heres much to do with hate but more with love Foreshadowing plays a role in providing hints for events to come as well as to present fate and destiny as a major motivation of the actions of characters This is the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet a story demonstrating the uncontrollable feelings of love and hate through foreshadowing and fortuneLove and hate appear as a consistent and major theme presented in Romeo and Juliet As the play begins Romeo experiences what he thinks to be love with Rosaline while Juliet is consented to marry Paris The feast held by Lord Capulet directly results in both Romeo and Juliet attending for the sole purpose of meeting their prearranged loves and hence drawing them together The clash between love versus hate is especially represented during Romeo and Juliets first meeting Once
