Music has always affected society and how one lives their life A huge star of todays music is actress and musician Miley Cyrus whose song We Cant Stop has become a huge discussion among todays generation Hidden in Mileys lyrics portray a life of partying and sexual activities and an idea of freedom or a new life Miley uses repetition rhyming patterns and figurative language to connect with her audience and convince them of such a lifestyleMiley Cyrus was born in Nashville Tennessee to country musician Billy Ray Cyrus The young girl strived for the life as a star and received her wish as the lead character in Disney Channels Hannah Montana Cyrus The young star was forced to live her childhood as an adult Several years later the teen sensation portrays a new way of life which is evident in the release of her song We Cant Stop The song hit the tabloids over the great controversy of such an innocent face becoming what Miley refers to as an adult acting like a kid RiveraAccording to the text Mileys song focuses on a fun rebellious party life The lyrics are provocative and a huge step away from Mileys previous music style Although much of Mileys audience views We Cant Stop as a fun party song the actual purpose in which Miley intended is a bit different The lyrics actually refer to things that many would view as disgraceful and possibly even a life of being lost or in repeat of the same events Hickey The idea of the song being lost or in repeat is evident in Mileys repetition of the lyrics we cant stop which represents a life of the same thing continuously and without an escape Hickey The idea of not being able to stop forces the idea of the inability to escape a life of partying and rebellion Hickey Miley allows the audience to feel a sense of pride or ownership
