In this article Robin Allot says that to feel love you have to have empathy for others and feel for people He also says that love can be expressed genetically Robin is right about this there is a blending of both empathy and genetically The article explains that there are many social factors that explain how love can be expressed The one biggest point that Robin states is the mother and infant bond Even in early development a child feels a connection to their parents particularly the mother A bond nine months in the making they share something completely unbreakable love But love isnt simply defined by our predisposition to associate it with family but can also be expressed through a variety of ways Culturally we as Canadians live in an open and accepting society that in itself is of a loving nature We feel close to those around us and openly show affection In other cultures like in India there isnt a loving nurturing culture but rather a silenced and oppressive need to shame those who express what we call love The last major point that Robin states is that evolutionary genetics affect your feelings on love Love isnt relative to just a physical or genetic connection but relies on a number of other factors like our cultural upbringing and belief systemsThe mother and infant bond that was mentioned in the article called Evolutionary Aspects of Love and Empathy has a large effect on how your feelings of love can be expressed because depending on how you were raised depends on how loving you are to others If you grew up in a home where your family was very loving and close than most likely you will feel that love for others Where if you grew up without a family than you wouldnt know what the feeling of love is You wouldnt know how to feel empathy for others because you never were shown
