I read London Bridges by James Patterson The genre is thriller I read it because I like the authors other books like the Alex Cross series or the 11th Hour story I decided to choose this book to write about when I finished the story because it had a colorful cast of characters from a hometown police chief to a couple of terrorists who dont seem to get along The plot had initially intrigued me when I had picked it up it is about a police chief named Cross who runs into two of his worst enemies the Wolf and the Weasel The pacing was stellar as well it took me a long time to find out who was behind the bombings I enjoyed this book and I hope to share it with you Although they dont sound the part from their names the Wolf and the Weasel are cunning masterminds who want to bring destruction to mankind by blowing up major cities such as London Paris and New York As the plot progresses we discover that the once-separate bombings of London and Paris are actually the work of both evil geniuses They hope to bring the world to its knees while Cross sits helplessly looking on at the mayhem Chase ensues as Cross works together with the federal agencies FBI and CIA to bring the dastardly duo to justice The story is high-octane with many twists-and-turns to keep the reader in suspense such as false calls to distract the police while being able to evade justices grasp As time goes on Cross gets more and more agitated and turns to drugs to soothe his anxiety This only contributes to Crosss health issues as he becomes addicted to his pills eventually overdosing on them At the end of the story the Wolf and the Weasel are captured after being cornered in a Brazilian airport trying to take offThe most engaging part of the story for
