SeaWorld is supposed to be a place full of fun and Entertainment People go and watch all the animals perform What would someone do if his or her favorite animal the orca whale were no longer there Michael Martinezs article explains Californias plans to ban orca whales from the state He uses the basic rhetorical appeals to show how close the ban is The article is written for familys who go and see the show at SeaWorld in California because its telling them that in the future it may not get to see the orcas performing at SeaWorld anymore so they should do it now before it is too late Also the article is written for the animals activist who disagrees with the way SeaWorld has been treating the whales in the past Its showing the activist that they are getting closer to winning the battle and are getting closer to having the whales released back into the wild According to California bill would ban orca shows at SeaWorld the proposal would retire all captive killer whales to sea pens if available and would allow retired orcas to be display but not perform Martinez The ban would not release the whales but SeaWorld would not be able to use them for entertainment anymore The California bill that would ban orcas from performing at SeaWorld would make the people who fought SeaWorld happy The groups that are involved in the making of the bill would be PETA The article stated that the public has begun to question the moral justification of keeping orcas in captaincy for our general entertainment The way the author words the article make it sound like the activist are happy to have the state is getting one step closer to getting orcas from being use for entertainment also the authors shows that the groups do not like SeaWorld This is about greed and this about corporate exploration both of
