A child being abused in any way has many consequences from mental development to interpersonal skills Over 75 of children suffered from neglect more than 15 were damaged by physical abuse and a little less than 10 were affected by sexual abuse There are three major factors that contribute to child abuse Parents top concern is making a living When parents work throughout the day this increases their stress levels which causes them to lash out However not all parents lash out due to stress but because they never learned the proper parenting skillsOne big cause of child neglect is parents are never around As a parent one of their main concerns is to make a living Parents work day after day to maintain lifestyle for their families and provide the best that they can Most parents dont notice this effort as an abuse to their children when in reality it is one of the most common Working full time steals time from parents and childrens life Parents dont get the greatest opportunity to get involved in their childrens life A child may need special attention in either their health or education but a parent will fail to see the needs due to being away for so long When a problem goes on for a while it will eventually get worse Making a living and having children has its consequences It can cause a child failure to thrive it may also lead to children needing special needs or as they grow older they will develop slower than usual In the long run a child can end up depressed due to lack of love and interaction with a parent 38stress levelsworking all around the clock also has its cons towards parents The wellbeing of parents has a major role on the causes of child abuse If a parent cant take good care of themselves they sure cant take care of a child While parents take on
