We are people of strong ideals with weak wills we are people with big dreams and small deeds and we are people of high hopes but low living In the Bible 1 John 19 says If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness Sin is transgression this is going beyond what God has said is good and proper Sin is iniquity this is a stronger word that means deliberately choosing to do wrong and has within it the idea of pre-meditated disobedience Sin is deviation from the standard this describes a crookedness of the soul that results in a life full of twisted choices evil deeds and broken relationships These descriptions are synonymous with of the type of life I was living prior to learning to except God for the loving God He is receiving the forgiving heart He has blessed me with and understanding that my life has meaning and purpose through His Son Jesus Christ my Lord and saviorI was born near Detroit Michigan in 1970 to a fifteen year old mother and a sixteen year old father He was an abusive alcoholic who left before I was one year old My mother married seven times before I turned fifteen and always ended up married to the extremely violent alcoholics As a result I was not able to attended one school for more than one year because we were always moving from state to state and back again to escape the carnageI moved out to live on my own when I was about fifteen years old in an attempt at gaining some stability and maybe some sanity Unfortunately I followed this jagged way of life the only life I had ever known Somehow as much as I wanted to change my life for the better I made it worse I found myself with my foot stuck in the bottom of
