To become a good person and a good father was a tough goal which was achieved by very few people in that raciest society Atticus was a man of principle who always set example for his children he was a man of courage who taught his children the true meaning of courage and he was a man of peace who controlled every situation without being violent and taught moral values to his children Atticus was a great man as well a great father who always stood for his children In the first place Atticus was a man of principle who always set an example for his children Atticus opposed racism because according to him all men are made equal and all should be respected by others and he explained Jem In the country our courts are the great levelers and in out courts all men are created equal A court is only as sound as its jury and a jury is only as sound as the men who make it up212 This explains Jem that the decision is not in the hand of the court it is in the hand of the people who run it As long those people are under the influence of racism the decision made in that court would be wrong and it is not a part of the Justice System Atticus was an honorable person to whom justice always stood before his family Then by mistake Atticus thought that Jem killed Bob Ewell and wanted Jem to go to prison for committing the murder He tried to tell Heck Tate If this things hushed up itll be a simple denial to Jem of the way Ive tried to raise him Sometimes I think Im a total failure as a parent but Im all theyve got Before Jem looks at anyone else he looks at me and Ive tried to live so I can look squarely back at him279 By this
