There are several different views and opinions on what makes an individual a good parent If you wore to visit a gynecologist office in the waiting area you would notice all sorts of magazines and pamphlets on parenting for first time parents Although being a parent is generally an instinct that should come natural certain individuals need some extra help and reassurance on grasping the concept of how to be a good parentIn my opinion in order to be a good parent you cannot go by a step by step guide line In some cases you just have to go by your heart and your natural instance Parenting is not an easy task and often the world sends a portrait that good parents can provide their kids with everything that money can buy I so often see in the upper class communities that wealthy parents send their children to the best schools pay to have nannies to provide around the clock care while they are away on business Although there is nothing wrong with wanting your children to have the best at times Kids so often just yearn or long for a kind word or a show of affection over money any day You also see the lime light children those are the athletes actorsactresses and talented kids that so often cannot be a child because their parents push them to be successfulThere is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting your child to be productive an successful but no parent should allow their child to miss out on the little things that every child enjoys The memories of your child riding a bike flying a kite building a sand castle having their first slumber party going fishing and camping or even going to their first school dance is greater than all the success in the world In even as an adult they will always hold onto those childhood memories
