If Anyon was to come and observe my school when I attended elementary school I believe that she would have labeled it as a working class school I say that because not only is a majority of the students came from working class families but also we were taught on the same lines as Anyon describes the working class schools Class every day was very routine Our school did not have much money so our staff was very limited Every subject was taught by the same teacher and it was very routine We would learn the same subject during the same times every day We were given instructions on how to complete the task and if we were having trouble doing it they would just repeat the instructions and have us try again We were given no chance to build responsibility at all When there was a field trip coming we were not given the chance to take home a permission slip and bring it back instead our parents were called so we didnt have the chance to mess things up I believe we fell in the category of a working class school because we were taught to do the same routine every day and not to question authority Also we were not pressured to have very much responsibility that could have helped develop needed skillsAs I progressed through middle school and into high school I noticed a distinct change in teaching styles It was no longer a repetitive every day process We got to choose what classes we wanted to take based on what we were interested in I attended a high school with only one-hundred fifty kids so there was a very small faculty and class choices That limited the choice we had for furthering our education but our school was over one million dollars in debt so there wasnt much they could do about it In the school there were a variety
