There are specific characteristics of Ancient Chinese culture that contributed to its success these contributions effected this ancient civilization Confucianism was the base of Ancient China The Silk Road also contributed to its success along with other achievements in Ancient ChinaConfucius was a philosopher who created one of Chinas main schools of thought His main goal was to positively influence Ancient China He used education to teach his beliefs and to help others realize their potential He encouraged civil service as a means for the educated to help benefit their government Confucius believed this would stabilize their society and encourage strong leadership This would give people a greater sense of loyalty toward their leaders and ensure peace in societyThe Silk Road was a trade route used to transport Chinese silk form East Asia to the Mediterranean This trade route provided communication and ties between these two diverse regions They exchanged material goods and also new ideas and philosophies This series of routes created the opportunity for reciprocal also modernly referred to as interactive trade For those who participated in this trade it provided increased prosperity and other social advancements The types of advancements were social philosophical and intellectualAncient China achieved many great things because of their stable government They focused on the developmental research of their society The main areas of intrigue were technology and science Their discoveries in trade philosophy and education became the foundation of a successful and prosperous civilization Ancient China developed more efficient work efforts improved education and advanced medicine In modern times these accomplishments make it possible for China to have influence in a wide variety of areasThe effects of specific developmental contributions and characteristics of Ancient Chinas success had many effects Through Chinas development influences such as Confucius and the Silk Road helped it become the well-functioning society it is today Today Chinas economy is the rated the second highest in the world
