More basketball communication happens off the court than on the court Many people think that all of the communication between a team happens on the court during game time What people do not realize is that team building and conflict resolution happens off the court outside of practices and games The team communicates in school group messages and outside of schoolBeing on a team it is all about communication whether it is on the court or off Yes we have to be able to communicate on the court but more communication happens off the court Simply by what the people do not see what happens or what a team does Some of the examples of the communication that happens off the court are team eats sleepovers car wash team bonding and watching film It is important for any team to be close off the court it improves the performance on the court The closer everyone is off the court the better we will communicate on the court Besides how much a team communicates off the court in person there is just as much communication through group messages a Facebook group or just phone calls Group messages can happen between the whole team or just a few players and the coach There mostly used to tell everyone which uniform to wear or what time practice is Another reason for messages is to get the team ready for the game coming up by texting the sayings to pump them up or just to say that we have to be ready for our competition coming up This mostly happens when it is a big game or a tough team we play Trash talking every team does happen whether they want to admit it or not it is just a normal thing for a team to do Trash talking happens a lot in-group messages because it is just between the team Trash talking another team happens a lot
