Sport organizations in Europe and the US have much valuable knowledge to learn from each other to become even stronger Americans are specialists in broadcasting and create revenue all across the leagues Europeans are specialists in creating big teams to dominate leagues over long time and take advantage of the talent available In the US there are four big major sports leagues NBA NHL NFL and MLB and one smaller major sport league MLS While in Europe there are one dominating sport soccer and there is many less popular sports such as handball basketball hockey and various endurance sports This means that the large talent pool of athletes in the US is divided between four major sports compared to the European talent pool is focused on one main sport This is because these are the popular sports these are the sports that most kids dream about playing pro but there are of curse some exceptions I will therefore look at the differences of NBA NHL NFL and MLB in the US up against soccer in Europe to see how they can learn from each other NBA NHL NFL and MLB will be gathered under the category of American sportsAmericans are experts on broadcasting their favorite sports across their nation One of the biggest reasons for that is that all the major sports are very TV friendly and media adapted If you look at American sports they all have a lot of breaks where there is no action on the field so therefore it is a perfect time to show commercials While in Europe soccer has 45 minutes of action 15 minutes of break and than 45 minutes of action to finish the game During the 90 minutes of action there is no time for commercial breaks But the soccer stadiums are usually packed with advertisement around the pitch for viewers to look at all-night So what the TV stations in Europe those to be
