Many people are aware of the tragedy that took place on April nineteenth of nineteen ninety-five at 903 in the morning The bombing of the Oklahoma city Alfred P Murray building was the largest domestic terrorist act this country has ever faced Over 400 injured and one hundred sixty-eight were killed nineteen of which were children whose lives were stolen at a daycare right above a truck full of explosivesIt takes lot to over come a tragedy of any kind but when you know it was some one from your own country someone just like you or me someone you could have gone to school or church with in my opinion it makes it way harder But one of the survivors Mary Mowdy proves to us its very possible to over come such tragedies as this when she says I have tried hard not to make the bombing the centerpiece of my life but to give it the proper perspective I wanted to show my sons that bad thing happen it is important to be resilient- to work hard and keep moving forward Im sure like Mary Mowdy everyone has had to over come something in his or her own life from choking on a cough drop to a favorite grandparent dyeing all the way to losing a dear loved one in a terrorist attack Weve all had our bad days sometimes its bad weeks even but as the mighty people this nation consists of we find a way to move on Like me for example last August I finally told my parents my biological grandparents they got legal guardianship over me when I was a few weeks old I wanted to move in with my biological mother they took about a month to think about it and then one school night they sat me down to talk with me about it They said they had thought about it and they said it
