With the past few weeks I can honestly say that this English 101 course has helped me so much already I used to have trouble with being able to think clearly and I also had trouble with being able to write in a way in which my reader would be able to understand where Im coming form Now I can think with more clarity and I can also write with more clarity With the Daily Journal the two essay papers the exercises the web postings and reading the textbook I have gained a lot of knowledge that I didnt already have The Daily Writing Journal was a good experience for me I havent written in my own personal journal for two years and I wanted to get back into it With writing for this class it has helped me get back into the mood of writing in a journal From my daily writing journals I have learned that writing can be used as therapy I say that because when I wrote on some of these days I was angry depressed or happy For the angry and depressed days that I experienced I wrote what was going on through my mind I wrote what I was feeling what caused me to feel that way and so forth When I started writing a specific entry I would feel depressed or I would be filled with hate but towards the end of my entry I felt so much better I felt as if nothing had happened It also gives me a pleasure in the future to go back in time just by reading my entries From my two essays I have learned that it takes a lot of time to develop a good essay It takes a lot of work energy and thinking as well Writing an essay takes so much out from you When I typed both of my essays I felt as if I
