In his novel Brave New world 1932 Aldous Huxley reveals to his audience a new and improved way of controlled living for the future Huxley begins the novel by starting in year 632 AF After Ford the God of the new world after all of civilization had been destroyed by the 9 Years War Setting the novel in an uncomfortably sterile and futuristic atmosphere Huxley present that parents and the concept of love are no longer said without bringing horror to ones face The Bokanovsky process a form of cloning is the new way for children to be born and set into a certain social class to obtain social stability You all remember I suppose that beautiful and inspired saying of Our Fords History is bunk Huxley 34Throughout the novel we encounter a plethora of issues involving Huxleys new and conformed way of living and how it degrades natural rights and liberty that were once acceptable in the old world Huxley seemingly portrays a dystopian society that completely limits the citizens lifestyle with the use of plentiful references to technology and proposes the radical idea that technological advances can easily be used by any form of government to strictly control the thoughts actions feelings and lives of its people Mustapha Mond the Controller of the Brave New World alludes the fact that although society may seem as if it has achieved stability and perfection it is in the most sense horrifying This dystopian society controls all aspects of life and assembles a government to provide happiness but destroy liberties such as art religion and to some social classes nature It was decided to abolish the love of nature but not the tendency to consume transport 23 The conditionings are all exercised on infants and they include loud noises electric shocks and hypnopaedia These experiments are done to prevent children from having the love for books and flowers nature thus every time they see one they
