In the forests of Siberia Xavier was running for his life Earlier that day he thought himself to be free from the infernal pack of white wolves that had been tracking him but he was greatly mistaken The baying hounds were literally snapping at his heels in avid pursuit of a most elusive meal Xavier his last breaths struggling to escape his gasping chest gave a strangled scream as he fell down a narrow valley into the base of a small abandoned wooden shackHead throbbing from the impact with the exposed stone foundation Xavier groped his way into the rundown building seeking shelter from the onslaught of mangy fur flying at him out for his blood He closed the door hurriedly and not a moment too soon for he could feel the bodies of his pursuers being flung at him the flimsy door frame hardly withstanding the pressure It held however and after a few minutes he heard the wolves begin to leave realising that their prey was out of their graspWith a sigh of relief Xavier sat down and took out a hand warmer shivering violently from what he feared might become hypothermia A resounding crack sounded from behind him and he looked up into the worst nightmare that had ever trodden upon this earth A huge dark figure loomed over him the details of which were not important mainly due to the face he was staring intoGrayed with decay this terror of a head was riddled with scars random gray hairs and the occasional lack of skin portraying a horrific web of veins and rotten muscle His jaw was dangling from its hinge as though someone had ripped one side off very clumsily and didnt bother to deal with the other However above all of this the most hideous and repulsive feature was his eyes Or where there should have been eyes Xavier stared not into the face of a mad wilderness-ravaged outlaw
