Depression is often underestimated by a number of people It is not common for a person who finds out that hisher friend or family member was diagnosed with depression to react with a non-sealant response like Doesnt everyone in this economy The reality is depression is not just the feeling of sadness but a mental state in which a person can enter and ultimately experience physical symptoms that interfere with simple daily functions The physical symptoms of depression can become very noticeable once a person reaches the stage of withdrawal from reality or social interactions Friends and family members will take concern when they notice a person wanting to be alone more often and visibly having an unusual look of loneliness or sadness Patients in this stage tend to lose the care of self-appearance and well-being They will start sleeping more and accomplishing less Commonly seen within this stage of depression are loss of appetite and interest in things once enjoyed Depression causes a person to have a total different outlook on everything thus causing them to act in such a manner Depression includes certain attacks of anxiety and panic that can be one of the most stressful symptoms for some patients One person can try to endure so much emotion and stress that it will lead to these attacks which is a starting symptom of depression During these attacks most people seem motionless due to the overwhelming feeling in their mind Uncontrollable crying and hyperventilating are both included within these breakdowns Watching someone go through this certain symptom of depression can seem very severe when compared to normal anxiety and sadness throughout daily life Once the attack has passed the patient will begin to feel tired and sore from the stress their body has been put through while trying to deal with the attackIn some of the worse cases like Psychotic Depression symptoms can get so severe that hearing voices and seeing hallucinations will
