Imagination is the ability to form a picture in your mind of something that you have not seen or experienced Disneys movies are depicted as the most favorable choice for children but in reality the underlining effect of the movies obstruct childrens full capacity to imagine Gloria Steinems Wonder Woman and Deborah Rosss Escape from Disneyland Disney and the Female Imagination provide evidence that shows how comic book characters and movie characters have power over the imagination The movie The Incredibles is a prime example of how Disney movies reduce the imagination of children Feminism was the start of women wanting equal rights because men were always been more favored Steinem says Women represent love men represent force Mans use of force without love brings evil and unhappiness Steinem 541 Steinem was right with this statement and in The Incredibles it is proven true Elastigirl the mother figure in the movie was lied to by her husband Mr Incredible and without even thinking twice she risked her life to save him simply because she loves him Elastigirl proves that women are superior to men because they have love in addition to force Steinem 541Parents always tell kids to do their best at everything they do but when it comes down to it they really arent allowed to Dash the son in The Incredibles had the power to run at super speeds but wasnt allowed to do it publicly because it would ruin his cover At the end of the movie Dash joined the track team and found a recreational way to use his ability but wasnt fully capable of using it because he had his father saying Come on run Pick up the pace Move it move it Pace it Slow down just a little bit Dont give up Make it close Mr incredible is only sending the wrong message to his child by making Dash feel as if second place is good enough
