We have not won the war against drug trafficking there still ruining innocent peoples lives -Sheila Jackson Lee Drug trafficking from Central and South America should be more controlled than it is right now This problem should be dealt with because these drugs ruin innocent people without knowing the knowledge of what theyre doing or what hazards it can have These drugs are traded in different routes with all kinds of dangers from different places This money is made and gave to leaders of the gangs or trade routes The chaos of drug trafficking is ruining peoples lives and the US government should destroy and take control of trafficking Lets start out with the drugs that are trafficked into from the southern border Cocaine is the one of the top trafficked into America it is grown in Coca Plant in countries like Bolivia and then its given to Mexican cartels to distribute all over the world mainly the USA because its the easiest for them This makes the Cartels really rich giving them million dollars Next drug is Marijuana This drug is grown on farms in Mexico Making a cheap but very large production and easy to traffick all over the world Another drug is opium poppy or known as heroin This is poppy is grown all the way in South America locations are mainly unknown This drug is very expensive and its small and easy to traffick Giving the gangs tons of money American gangs also do trades with arms and drugs so the cartels can fight against the Mexican army Other small drug like Methamphetamine is trafficked but not as much as the other drugs These drugs do lots of harms and kills thousands of innocent people Drug trafficking has a lot dangers and its one of the reasons why we should control it more A lot of people die from trafficking drugs from all the way to large gang wars to
