Discuss fully two stories which describe how the early church carried out the Great CommissionThe time had come for the Early Church to carry out the Great Commission as the Lord Jesus Christ commanded The Good News about Jesus was spreading Some believed some doubted which the case is always when the gospel of Christ is being preached Many risked their very lives and believed no matter the persecution There are numerous of Bible Scriptures that tells us about how the Early Church did this but I mainly focused on Cornelius and the Conversion of Saul Cornelius was a Roman centurion who was in charge of over one hundred Roman soldiers He and his whole family believe in God he was a man of prayer and often cared for the poor and gave to them In the scriptures Acts 101-16 about three oclock one afternoon when Cornelius had a vision where he clearly saw an angel of God come in and say to him Cornelius He stared at the angel in dread and said What is it sir The angel then answered God is pleased with your prayers and works of charity and is ready to answer you Now send some men to Joppa for a certain man whose full name is Simon Peter a guest at the tanners home Simon who lives by the sea Then the angel went away and Cornelius called two of his house servants and a soldier a religious man who was one of his personal attendants and told them what had happened and sent them off to Joppa As they were on their way and coming near Joppa Peter went up on the roof of the house about noon in order to pray He became hungry and wanted something to eat while the food was being prepared he had a vision He saw heaven opened and something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its
