In a world where the only sources of hope you carry lies in whirlpool of lies and fears In the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding a group of boys are stranded on an island and the fear of their unknown environment causes problems Fear causes people to lose their understanding on themselves and their environment The fear causes the boys to act savage think irrationally and create chaos in the group of children The boys lose all sense of control when fear strikesThe fear of being isolated and alone on the island causes the boys to act like licentious savages As Jack and the hunters search for a pig they paint their faces to feel and act like tribal people Jack says to his hunters about the paint For hunting Like in the warGolding 63 The paint on the faces is the incipient mark of being savages As the hunters talk about reenacting hunting experience they foment dance around and chant a savaging rhyme The chant they say during the reenactment is Kill the pig Cut her throat Bash her in Golding 75 The elation the boys get from the kill shows that fear of not surviving makes the boys act like savages As the hunters get more and more savage they soon kill Simon for being in the shadows and looking like the beast Ralph says to Piggy after Simon is That was murder Golding 156 Jack littluns and the hunters all surrounded the fire while chanting and got caught up in the act that they thought they saw the beast and it ended up being one of their friends and slight the death of Simon Their unknown environment causes the boys to act savage-like because they do not know how to live independently While they act like savages those actions have major consequencesThe boys fear fogs up their reality versus imagination and causes the boy to
