Marijuana is a popular drug especially among our youth It is currently illegal to have sell or use marijuana Marijuana has become more of a popular trend in the last few years With musicians actors and rappers using marijuana it has become more of a popularity issue for the youth as well as a drug issue Marijuana is a drug that some use just to fit in with a certain crowd Many people can argue that marijuana is a harmless drug that should be legalized because it helps relieve stress Which many doctors say is true but our government believes that its too much of an addiction for people to handle and should not be used at all If marijuana was legalized the crime rate would decrease the economy would increase and new jobs will be available If marijuana was legalized the crime rate would decrease because the enormous amounts of people who smoke marijuana will no longer have to worry about getting arrested Some people are not really criminals in the sense that they rob harm or hurt people they just like to have the freedom to smoke marijuana I dont see the big deal in smoking marijuana Why waste jail space and police forces on people who just want to smoke If it means lowering the crime rate than legalizing marijuana is a great option People know the consequences and the effects of smoking marijuana so let them do as they please Its their body so what they do with it shouldnt be anyones business but their ownIf marijuana was legalized the economy would increase Theyre many ways that the government would use marijuana to increase the USs economic status The first is by creating sales taxes for stores or locations that would sell marijuana By doing this the government would bring in a lot of money due to the popularity of marijuana The government would also save a
