Everyone on the face of this Earth has experienced a maniacal event that has strongly impacted their life In the book Revolution and the book Alice in Wonderland there are two young girls Andy and Alice who get to travel through strange new worlds and discover new sides of themselves that they never knew they had They had to overcome fears and leave their pasts behind them but in the end they both moved on to better things In both novels Revolution and Alice in Wonderland the two main characters Andy and Alice are open and willing to have change in their life they both learn from their experiences but the severity of the need for the change in their lives differ In order for Alice and Andy to have had these strange experiences they had to be open and willing for them to happen Although both girls are looking to escape reality and find something better in their life their reasons of wanting this change are different Alice is a young girl with a creative wandering mind and sitting listening to her sister read is not her ideal fun she would much rather be doing something better somewhere else Alice thinks that a novel with no pictures or conversations is pointless and non-imaginary She feels that books like that restrain her from using her mind so she drifts off into a day dream and lets her mind run free The author says about Alice at the beginning of the novel Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank and having nothing to do once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading but it had no pictures or conversations in it and what is the use of a book thought Alice without pictures or
