In this day and age Cloning is a large topic This topic entails many moral and ethical issues Cloning research is being done across the world and has been preformed many times with animals and humans Why is cloning such a touchy topic Is it because are people afraid of a modern day Frankenstein Or are they afraid of Gods revenge Are the people of the earth messing with creation or are they really helping the world Personally I believe that cloning should be banned every thing happens for a reason Cloning has already been proven to be dangerous in the scientific sense The problem is that even if cloning is outlawed in the counties that are currently doing this research that over 170 nations in the world have yet to outlaw human cloning research Cloning is the process of recreating an identical copy of person or animal This can be done through several complex processes Two of the most popular are stem cell research and embryonic cell research Stem cells can be taken from a living source at any given age and there are several types An embryonic cell comes from an embryo The last stage has gotten people up in arms because an embryo is considered a living organism and to obtain the cells the embryo must be destroyed Both of these methods take the cells and place them in an unfertilized egg to produce a living clone Cloning research has gone as far as to supposedly clone a human in December of 2002 A girl named Eve was conceived However no concrete evidence has come forth to prove this acquisition After this report scientist from China Australia US and Russia have come forward all to say that they all have successfully cloned human embryos but have destroyed them before they could develop However now in the United States there is a ban on Cloning research Cloning research however is not all terrible
