It was a good interesting and amazing experience to me spending two semesters at Valparaiso University studying in Core program I had the plan not taking Core program because we had good discussions during both semesters As an international student the Core program was difficult for me in the beginning because I needed to read many pages and translate some vocabulary It took a long time for me but it was helpful I practiced English Language as a second language and I learned new vocabulary that helped me to understand most of the books I enjoyed the class time because we were discussing all the books with each other freely listening to each other arguing and learning different perspectives In addition I came to the realization why the Core program has five credits Then I found that the Core touched our daily lives and improved it gradually Attending movies was one of the best parts of Core class for me Fifth hour activity was also very helpful It taught me how to exchange my culture with other international students I liked the subjects that they discussed in the fifth hour events Also some of the topics were gorgeous In addition Origins Love Education Vocation Leadership Life and Death are all relatable subjects We must learn all of them separately however because it is one of the most important things that help us to cope with the different conditions of life All the units we have taken in the Core program helped me learn how people think express their opinions and how their lives are changing for the better To be honest I did not think or spent a long time in the units we had in Core program before I came to the university When I started my first year in the university and I took the Core program I found all the units are good influences to my life I like all
