Stating out at Imagine I was pretty nervous about how the kids would act and what my time would be like I had heard things about Imagine that made me a little iffy but I knew that the kids needed help and I was willing to help them with anything I was put in a fifth grade classroom to help with reading comprehension I have never really worked with fifth graders Im more comfortable with the younger kids so this was a little out of my comfort zone On my first day they teacher just had me and Cassidy another SF student just observed the class and grader some papers since the teacher didnt have anything for us The kids were all as I imagined fifth graders would be the listened but also tried to see how much they could get away with And none of them could stay in their seats the proper way I did get to work with DeQuan for about ten minutes on my first day we go through one story He was a great reader but seemed to skip over words he didnt know he would just fill them in with a word he knew The next few times were a little hectic DeQuan kept getting in trouble so I never got to have him and Caleb at the same time Which made thing a little easier but I still wanted to have both of them working together on a story just to see how they worked together But when I met Caleb he seemed rather shy but once we started talking and reading he was definitely the opposite he talked so much He tried to get me off track at least a dozen times a day he kept telling me about a cruise and asking my questions about my life He was a great reader but seemed to stutter when he tried reading fast and he would mumble big
