Women worldwide are at a disadvantage to men Resources In America at least everyone is created equal and have the same opportunities men and women are the majority of the time are allowed to do the same things on the same level Women can drive work in the same places as men and have their own opinions thoughts and ideas In other places of the world for example the Middle East women are just another being They have no thoughts for themselves they cant work without permission and in some places they cant even drive Basically in the Middle East men make all the decisions for the women Some Middle Eastern countries even have rules and regulations requiring them to get permission before leaving home having an identification card getting a passport or leaving the country and sometimes even just leaving the city How Gender Discrimination In the Middle East men rule Plain and simple They hold the majority of the government positions they have the most power in the large companies and when they marry a woman they have complete and utter control over that woman for the rest of her life weather the woman is okay with that or not And even before they get married the women are controlled by their fathers and told what to do who to marry and what to say Women arent considered equal to men in any way shape or form They are considered in lamest terms basically property of the men that they are married to Women have no say in the politics and cant even vote in some countries for the leaders They just have to live with the fact that the men are the superior gender and have the majority of the power in their home countries and that they have no say in it In a study done in over 79 economies 76 of them have antidomestic laws 32 have sexual
