There is a song by Christian artist Matt Redman called Never Once Although it is making a spiritual reference I think the lyrics can be applied to everyday situations My favorite line in the song is scars and struggles on the way but with joy our hearts can say never once did we ever walk alone Middle school is a time where everyone is trying to figure out who they are and who their friends are I have learned that the teachers at GPS are always there to help you emotionally and academically They are always there for help class or to give you advice on situations This is something unique and special to GPS All they way through my 3 years in middle school I have learned that never once will we ever walk alone Teachers are available to meet with you anytime they are free to help you comprehend the material better I am thankful for the teachers that I have been taught by in middle schoolWhen my 12-year-old sister was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma at the beginning of this school year my family and I received an outpouring of love and support from GPS This was a challenge all year as I watched my best friend and hero lose her hair and spend weekends at TC Thompson while other girls her age were enjoying middle school During this challenging time I realized that I would never walk alone Teachers were there to comfort me when I was upset and brought meals to my family when we were too busy with appointments to make dinner Through every challenge I faced this year friends and faculty from the middle school at GPS supported my family and me Another challenge that I have faced during my time in middle school is the academics The academics make GPS a special and unique
