The room filled my nostrils with the scent of flowers as I walked in Carnations and roses filled every possible corner of the room I could hear the whispers coming from my family and acquaintances just as the wind whispers soft words into the trees leaves On the day my grandfather past away my aunts and uncles had claimed that there was no reason for my mother to feel sorrow because she was never there for him In the funeral home there was a huge confrontation in which all my aunts and uncles were angry with my mother The day in which unity was the only consolation we all had to have experienced was not even in consideration Everything seemed so surreal dreamlike almost My grandfathers death was extremely unexpected My grandfather was an alcoholic which led him to depression and that led him to the wrong crowd Soon enough all the unfortunate events in his life made him feel unworthy of living so he filled his pockets with stonesMy grandfather was an extraordinary human being very different and at the same time very delicate for a man He began to drink when he was younger Since then he just couldnt desist from drinking He then got hung up on some people with the same habits he seized My grandfather was an alcoholic and he invested his time in friends from the neighborhood My aunts and uncles did not know how to handle the lifestyle my grandfather had now acquired Due to that being the situation they left my grandfather alone with his vices that ended up marring him His vices did not matter to my siblings and I his ways of life did not alter the way we felt for him as it did to his children My grandfather always proved to be a man of strength of love and care I never met another man on his behalf since I was born My
