Holding grudges we have all done it before we have all held something against someone for a period of time Sometimes there is a good reason and can benefit but most of the time the situation is so dumb that we forget why it happened and continue to have a problem Holding grudges are an actual problem and can lead to violence and an unhealthy life and just isnt worth itA grudge is a resentment strong enough to justify retaliation When someone has been hurt badly because of someone else They dont let it go for a period of time and they continue to hold if against them rather than forgetting or forgiving the person In a nationwide survey 94 percent of people said it was important to forgive Although 48 percent said that they usually try to forgive Some people hold grudges because they can not forget the past and dont acknowledge that people change and people should be forgiven Lets just say forgiveness is important For example the two-time Oscar and Academy Award Winner Ben Affleck even says dont hold a grudge He said Deciding not to hold a grudge invokes the power of forgiveness Forgiveness is akin to the truth it will make you free When you learn to forgive you become free of resentment grudges and anger-all which are toxic to your personal development Someone once said holding on to anger and resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die When we hold on to Grudges and dont allow ourselves the gift of forgiveness we remain tied to the source of our hurt and pain The person you choose not to forgive is literally living in your head rentfree That very person is zapping your creative energy affecting your decisions and destroying your relationships with the people you loveHolding grudges is a problem Your always angry and never completely yourself when you hold grudges The
