POP A bubble bursts and the culprit smirks as a ripple of giggles echo around the room Gum has never been permitted in school but the excitement of trying not to get caught makes that watermelon gum ever so juicer and flavorful But all that excitement might soon be bursting with each bubble blown Principals are pondering the possible effects of reversing the age-old ban on gum Principals have discovered that due to physiological occurrences allowing gum would make students less compelled to chew it This could lead to results like less mess and a decline of gum appearances during class These tentative changes are quite popular among students as there is an overwhelming cry to approve gum in schoolsThe first argument normally heard against gum is that students continually decide to stick their gum under a desk instead of in a trashcan With no more strict gum laws students would create less mess by simply throwing it away without all the consequences Students wouldnt be afraid of being caught with gum anymore so just throwing it away wouldnt be a problem One day my sister put her hand under her desk and pulled it out with three pieces of gum on her hand All of these sticky surprises could be put to a halt with the allowance of gum in schoolsThe next issue in the gum debate is that the No Gum Rule seems to have caused the reverse effect Students seem to be more attracted to gum than ever before The moment one kid opens a pack of gum a tidal wave of whispered requests come crashing down on him On the other hand allowing gum would make students not want to chew it since they wouldnt be going against any rules With easy-going gum rules kids wouldnt feel quite so needy for their tasty treat in the middle of classLooking at the entirety of these facts any reader could plainly see that
