A time in my life when I helped someone I didnt have too by reaching out to others and sacrificing things dear to me A form of humility towards others with patience and without honor or reward but first what does it mean to help someone To help someone means to give assistance or support Contribute to forward the advance of ordinary lifeTwo years ago during Christmas time giving was a substitute for receiving At Christmas time family members receive gifts of many kinds Toys jewelry and TVs That Christmas the only thing I wanted was for somebody to receive a gift that truly needed it I gave up my chance to receive a gift to give a gift My mom found a family from the Harvest Home and took the mom shopping for her three children I gave love care and hope to a family that needed it the most In 2009 that special season a family got an opportunity to receive gifts and know that they were not forgotten That year they were happy someone called their name I have to live in harmony with others be sympathetic love them as a brother and be compassionate and humble This represents my heart for helping othersMy Story Helping the Unfortunate I believe relates to The Good Samaritan the Samaritan risks defilement he approaches this unidentifiable man and helps him I helped a Harvest Home resident enjoy the holiday season Our stories are quite alike we both helped someone that was in need of it and sacrifice some things as a result We helped someone that we didnt have too by reaching out to them and sacrificing things dear to usWhen you help someone it is the best feeling in the world There is no other feeling like it In 2009 I learned something that year I learned to give
