Hermit Radley and Forester People see the world differently some want to be a part of the society in any way possible and there are those the hermits that hide from the outside world They dont interact with anyone In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and in the movie Finding Forester there are hermits They were driven to hermitage and eventually as many years past their hermitages were broken because of their friendships Both of the hermits were driven to hermitage because of their families and both of them had friends to help them break their shells Boo Radley and William Forester were driven to hermitage Boo Radley was locked inside of his house by his father when he was in his teens It was his fathers choice that or he would be sent to something similar to a military school The doors of the Radley house were closed on weekdays as well as Sundays and Mr Radleys boy was not seen again for 15 years Boo essentially didnt exist for 15 years Yes his actions as a kid led to him being locked up but his father was given another way out of the problem The judge was going to send Boo with his friends to something like a military school Getting sent to the military school would be much better for Boo because he would still intermingle with other people It would have prevented him from being a hermit William Forester was also driven to hermitage because of his family In a matter of 6 months I lost my brother and both parents caused Forester to become a hermit He presumed that he didnt want anything to do with the world because he saw how cruel it could be Forester mainly blames himself for his brothers death He knows that if he hadnt let his brother drive that one day while he was drunk he would
