Through out time heros have given us guidance in how we act and behavein everyday tasks These heros follow a basic archetype or typicalexample of what we believe a hero to beIn the book The ThreeMusketeers by Alexandre Dumas and the Marvel Comics The Adventures ofSpiderman by Stan Lee there are two hero Character ArchetypesDArtagnan and Spiderman These Characters come from two different timeperiods but have many things in common such as their adventurousnature immature ways and good values But they mainly differ in thefact that they were developed in two different time periods DArtagnan1800s Medieval France and Spiderman in the United States of America inthe 1950s From the start you can quickly infer that DArtagnan is very fearlessyoung man In the beginning of the book this is demonstrated when anunknown mustached man insults DArtagnan by making fun of his horseBut DArtagnan was not a character to allow a man to escape him thuswho had the insolence to ridicule him He drew his sword entirely fromthe scabbard and followed him crying Turn turn Master Joker lestI strike you behind Dumas 17 This event shows evidence that he isvery daring individual While in a like manner Spiderman shows that heis daring when soon after he discovers his powers goes to test them outby defeating the wrestler Crusher Hogan Soon after he is discovered byan talent scoutand he soon appears on the Ed Sullivan Show masked andreadyhe becomes an instant star Amazing Fantasy 1 This exhibitshis boldness because just after discovering his new found powers he wasalready out testing them out These two literary archetypes show theiradventurous ways and help us understand how they relate to our everydaylivesThe Dynamic Characters DArtagnan and Spiderman are very immatureDArtagnan expresses this immaturity because he falls in love veryquickly He felt at that instant all the suspicions of jealousyagitating his heart He himself doubly betrayedby his friend and by herwhom he already
