Nervous is an understatement for how I felt before I came to college It was the nervous but excited feeling that included butterflies but it also kind of felt like I was going to throw up I do not cope with change well but this was something that I knew was going to be such a good experience I was so used to high school and living at home Anywhere you go there are always pros and cons but you can only hope that the good outweigh the bad Even though high school and college are only a year apart the difference between the two is huge The biggest differences between high school and college are dorm life food and work Living in a suite with six girls is quite an experience Ive always had the privilege of having my own room and my own space and now Im shoved into a tiny dorm room At home I have a nice room bathroom and game room to myself where I can escape from the world College living is the total opposite no privacy whatsoever You share a bathroom with six other girls it gets a tad cramped to say the least Dont get me wrong I love my roommate and my suitemates but it is something that has taken some getting used to When it is time to do homework I do not always have a quiet place to work unless I go to the library Dorm life does not only include my personal suite it also include the entire building Along with that I get a noisy lobby right outside my door and loud footsteps above me Despite the negatives dorm life is a blast I am blessed with the best roommate I could possibly have and my suitemates are pretty great too Although it is a huge change from home the dorm life is the life for me Mommas cooking is
