In the history of the presidency of the Presidents of the United States not one decade as had more presidents in office than in the years of 1880-1890 In this time span of 10 wonderful year 5 presidents have served as the leaders of our country They have served as the ones who make the choices the ones with all the power vested in to them The ones who are elected for the people by the people I am talking about these 5 Rutherford Birchard Hayes 1877-1881 James Abram Garfield 1881 Chester Alan Arthur 1881-1885 Grover Cleveland 1885-1889 and Benjamin Harrison 1889-1893 These 5 are the 19th 20th 21st 22nd and 23rd presidents of the United States of America Rutherford Birchard Hayes was born on October 4th 1822 in Delaware Ohio His nickname was Dark-Horse President James Abram Garfield was born on November 19th 1831 in Orange Ohio He was the 20th president of the United States He was assassinated on September 19th 1881 in Elberon New Jersey Chester Alan Arthur was born on October 5th 1830 in Farfield Vermont He had two nicknames The Gentleman Boss and Elegant Arthur He died on November 18th 1886in New York New York Grover Cleveland was born on March 18th 1837 in Caldwell New Jersey He was the 22nd President of the United States Benjamin Harrison was born on August 20th 1833 in North Bend Ohio He had two nicknames also Kid Gloves Harrison and Little Ben As you can see as I summed up the terms of these five wonderful presidents some lived a short life like James A Garfield who was assassinated while others continue to live a long life like Grover Cleveland But no matter how I say it from the years 1880-1890 5 great men led our country down the path of life and helped us regain America the country of freedom
