Some people say honesty is the best quality a person could have but honesty is not a quality you come by very often in our society People lie about anything and everything They lie to get them out of something to get them into something to save them from embarrassment and to make themselves appear to be a better person Some people cheat others steal but if u look carefully you might still be able to find a genuinely honest personLying can start at a very young age It all begins when a toddler breaks his moms vase and tries to hide it to stay out of trouble This can evolve into more serious habits like cheating on tests homework or papers Kids try looking at their peers tests or even turning in someone elses work to try to get credit for it For example in the book Our Winter of our Discontent by Eric Johnson Ethan Hawleys son Allen tries to get away with plagiarizing on a paper he writes for a contest insert quote These habits can stick with you as you become an adult Adults try to get away with cheating on taxes and they even go to the extent to lie about peoples existents like Santa Clause All of these acts are a form of dishonesty These dreadful acts happen so often that people hardly notice them anymoreWhen the world first began there was only two people their names were Adam and Eve Adam and Eve did not listen to Gods laws and lied about taking the apple from the Garden of Eden This one small action lead to original sin which affected all of creation The world has changed so much Lying has become a part of everyday life and people dont even consider it a sin anymore In our community lying comes so naturally you have to question everything people say This habit comes to the extent of
