So you are a high school senior and you are excited to attend college Although college is very exciting it also is significantly different from high school in many ways One of the ways being that teachers in high school may frequently rearrange test date to avoid conflict with school events as in college professors usually schedule test without regard to the demands of other courses or outside activities College demands a certain level of maturity that is not expected in high school Time management is an ideal attribute that must be present One must be able to prioritize all aspects of their school work In high school if you have other classes with exams on the same day you may be able to ask your teacher to rearrange the date of your exam so that you may be able to focus on one exam at a time In college it works a little differently Your professors expect you to prioritize your time regardless of how many exams or assignments you may have As a student you may find it beneficial to look at the syllabus that your professor gives to you and review the dates of exams so that you can properly time manageAlthough college is significantly different from high school it can be one of the most enjoyable time periods of your life My advice to you as a college senior is to realize that certain levels of maturity in college are not expected from you in high school and certain skills must be learned Of the many skills that need to be learned time manage is very significant and regardless of what exams assignments and social activities that you may have your work is expected to get done
