In chapter twelve presents the issue of achievement anxiety for learning and performances Test anxiety is one of the most important issues that affect students academic performance but a small amount of anxiety is good to get students to study and facilitates performance specifically if task is not difficult Some students have high-test anxiety that has a negative effect on students academic achievement Students who have a high-test anxiety usually have physical symptoms such as an increase in blood pressure dry month muscle tension and nausea Once teachers realize that one of herhis students have one of these symptoms teachers should help them to reduce their stress by show them useful techniques that can help them to reduce their stress I agree with Stipek there is a relationship between the feeling of anxiety and the performance on tests Students fail and struggle in school because they cannot control their anxiety during a test situation for many reasons Some of students feel that they lacked the confidence to pass the test because of negative past experience The negative past experience may remind the student about their fail before and during tests and that would lose the students confidence and may give them up on tests Another students feel pressured by the expectations of teachers or parents I think there are some students dont know how to prep for tests and dont understand whats being asked Students dont always answer the actual question or elaborate enough on the answer For this reason students need to learn how to answer the test and teachers can help them by show them how to approach a question and understand what the question is askingAccording to my experience when I was in high school I heard from my friend that high school tests are so difficult and no boday can pass it and that made me nervous for each test Than I went to my mom and asked her
