Athletes today caught using Steroids are frowned upon but why There are only three reason athletes use them in todays society In the good old days athletes preformed on pure natural ability now it is all steroids pills supplements The reason for that is us the people the fans the coaches teammates and the human instinct to be better Consequently with growing expectations of the people for athletes to be bigger faster stronger and better than all the others we push athletes to these desperate measures Though every athlete has different reasons they all have this same underlying cause of satisfying others These athletes would rather do better than everyone else while cheating than to be a disappointment to their fans The risk of being caught is less stressful than being dropped from a team or even not being picked in the next NFL draft In the old days somewhere around 1980 back when they were still called Leather Head for the iconic helmets made entirely of Leather Now back in these days athletes were nearly never found using steroids The sports were played wholly by ability and skill gained in the gym and practice Never the less as the sports began improving equipment the players started hitting harder and harder Peoples expectation of these athletes grew they soon were expected to be these huge muscle bulging competitors For a number of years athletes would rely on hitting the gym training hard and using their natural ability Thats when sports were at their prime when they were true Some people will say there is no stress coming from the fans or from the people we merely want to watch and have a good time They may even dispute How are we pressuring them We are paying their income However this is exactly how we are pressuring them we want to see a good game a good hit good catch that powerful slam dunk
