A rollercoaster its probably the only term that could possibly describe my experience in my 8th Grade Way Cool Language class The funny thing is I absolutely positively hate rollercoasters even though I am forced on them quite frequently Every time a rollercoaster starts to slow I am glad it is over but then I am lurched through more G-force drops and corkscrews making my stomach turn The same happened with this class just when I thought the class would get better I was thrown for two more plunges 300 feet down into the firey depths of hell This rollercoaster is unlike anything Ive experience before unlike my other classes it was insane going every which way My other classes dont throw me for loops we stay at the same gradual pace making adequate progress each week and even sometimes having fun in the process However I cannot say the same for this class and my experience with it so basically Jai dtest des lettres cette anne or I hated language this year Hopefully as you read further and glance deeper into my inner soul you will understand exactly why I truthfully hated my English class this yearReading it was a term I had learned to hate over my school years Only sometimes did I manage to pick up a book and read the whole book without being forced Thanks to my sisters I learned that I was going to have to read everyday for my entire 8th grade year What I didnt know was that I had to log my reading using reading strategies to show that I actually did the reading Although coming to this class I already knew lots of reading strategies such as connecting predicting and summarizing For example Ive been connecting things all my life such as when forensic techniques on TV also appear in the books I read Predicting is probably the easiest strategy for me though I used
