Make sure that quotations you implement in the text actually deal with the topic you're discussing and fit in seamlessly.
Your essay raises some unanswered questions; for example, you mention that Stalin was "fatherless" at age 11, but you don't mention how this occurred. Some other events are glossed over quickly when they would benefit from a fuller explanation.
